In Manhattan, you can now eat and play board games at Hex & Company. This new board game restaurant is a collaboration between three existing board game cafes. It will continue to feature the successful programming from the original establishments, but it will also elevate other aspects of the dining experience.
Hex & Company offers an expansive library of over 1,000 board games, including some that are available for purchase. You can also enjoy a full bar and a newly expanded menu with fried chicken sandwiches. The restaurant also offers adult and kids programming, and it is available for private events.
In addition to the board game restaurant, Hex & Company offers a summer camp that will keep kids busy. Kids can participate in creative game design and mechanics workshops, as well as tournament-style tabletop play. The camp will run from June 18 through September 18, 2018. Twenty-One Pips, located at 24 Cricket Ave. in Ardmore, is the sister establishment of the popular Thirsty Dice board game cafe in Philadelphia. It offers more than 500 board games and a full bar with local breweries and spirits. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers a wide variety of board games and arcade games.
